The final version of the Creative Project

1 comment:

  1. Personally I feel like the creative project a lot because it is not only started with an unusual way but also ended up with allowing me to go through the whole process of an animation production. First of all, starting with sounds is very special, I learnt how to analyze and visualize the sounds. It was challenging but exciting at the same time. The time limit of this animation is only 30 seconds, so while thinking the narrative, I have to manage the pace of the story. At the beginning of the process, I presented my concept to the class several times and got many helpful feedbacks from my classmates. In this process, I learnt about camera angles, image sequences, and also programs such as Premiere. I found myself gradually finding my own style of animation that I want to continue on the style and techniques. While getting feedbacks from classmates and my instructor, I also did lots of research on the coloring and acting. For example, the sneezing scene was originally not very continuous because the expression on the character’s face is unrealistic. So I went online and found some slow motion videos that record human sneezing, so I stopped at each frame to draw the expression down and at last used in my own animation. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the outcome because the 30 seconds clip shows my concept, design, and coloring plan.
